Because of Corona, Facebook and Sony are pulling out of the Game Developers Conference

Facebook and Sony announced their withdrawal from the GDC Game Developers Conference, due to be held next month in San Francisco, California, due to the spread of Corona virus.
"In the interest of the health and safety of our employees, our developer partners, and the GDC community, Facebook will not attend this year's Game Developers Conference due to the evolving public health risks associated with Corona," a Facebook spokesman told GamesIndustry.biz.

He added: "We are still planning to share the exciting announcements that we have planned to display through videos, questions and answers online and more, and we will plan to host GDC partner meetings remotely in the coming weeks."
According to the Arab Technical News Portal, Sony said: "We have made a difficult decision to cancel our participation in the Game Developers Conference due to the growing concerns related to the spread of Corona virus." She added: "We felt that this was the best option because the HIV status and global travel restrictions change daily. We are disappointed to cancel our participation, but the health and safety of our global workforce is our greatest concern. We look forward to participating in the GDC in the future."

The ads that were planned by Facebook for the Game Developers Conference are expected to include Oculos, from us. Sony plans include upcoming games, such as: The Last of Us Part 2, a game that was supposed to be available in PAX East before The company withdraws from the offer.
It is noteworthy that, at the present time, the game developers conference will continue as planned, in contrast to an event with the Mobile World Congress "MWC 2020" which the organizers announced cancellation after the withdrawal of most important companies.
